Siddipet identified as ideal town

Siddipet is identified as an ideal town in Central government's Swachh Bharat Mission Project.

Solid and Liquid waste collection, sanitation management, Open Defecation Free (ODF) is identified in Siddipet and thus it is opted as the ideal city in the entire country, Mission Project chief Pratap Singh said.

Siddipet municipal Council, acting as the representative of the Centre has received the award on behalf of Quality Council of India. 40 towns were selected out of 7000 towns proposals under ODF. Along with Siddipet, five other towns from the state were also included in the selected list.
